We’ve all heard the phrase “baked with love.” But for Jay, it’s more than a saying, it’s a lifestyle (and sometimes a full-body workout). Jay believes love is energy, and if that’s true, then every cookie, tart, and pastry he makes is practically glowing with it.

Food has always been Jay’s creative outlet. Long before the mixing bowls and piping bags, he spent 18 years playing the organ, so you could say he’s always been good at finding harmony (especially between butter and sugar). With a background in nutrition and experience as a personal chef, Jay somehow manages to balance indulgence with intention, proof that dessert can make you feel good inside and out.

When he’s not baking…

Jay’s either entertaining friends and family or traveling the world, taste-testing his way through local bakeries and street markets. He loves bringing home inspiration and adding his own twist, because let’s be honest, everything tastes better with a little “BouJay flair.”

Jay’s skills have even earned him bragging rights, like winning his local strawberry competition three years in a row against some pretty serious contenders. But trophies aside, what he loves most is seeing people light up when they take that first bite.
